FAQs

  • How does custom sizing work?

I'll need your careful measurements and any notes about how you like garments to fit in order to create your custom size. If changes go beyond the very basic then I'll make up a pattern to your measurements! Fees may apply. Get in touch to discuss.

  • How long til I receive my order?

All items are made to order unless otherwise specified and orders will be shipped as they're completed. The time this takes may vary and depends on whether fabric needs to be dyed or specific accessories need to be sourced, and on current order volume. Orders usually ship within 5-10 business days, but it could be sooner or a tad later if something out of the ordinary pops up. Please get in touch prior to ordering if you need your items by a certain date. Rush fees may apply.

  • Why did you choose the name Jackfruit?

Jackfruits are tropical fruit native to South East Asia. They can be large or small, round, short, long, or lumpy. At any size and at any stage they are delicious and versatile – they can be enjoyed ripe or unripe, sweet or savoury - and I thought this was a nice metaphor for the inclusivity and body positivity that are at the core of the label, but actually it was my mum that first suggested the name. Thanks, ma 🥰

  • Do you offer returns or exchanges?

All sales are final after 14 days of delivery date. This should be plenty of time for you to know if you need an exchange. Please choose your items carefully and contact me with any questions prior to your order. I want you to be happy with your order and will do everything I can to help you choose the right pieces. Please see the return and exchange policy here for more details.

  • How do I care for my Jackfruit pieces?

To extend the life of our underwear for as long as possible, hand wash them with eco detergents (never harsh detergents or bleach) in warm water. Don't rub or wring. You can put them into a folded towel and press down with your body weight to absorb excess moisture so they dry faster! Then line dry in the shade.

Or you could not do any of that and machine wash them. It's up to you 🤷 The next best option is a delicate cycle and a lingerie bag. The worst thing that will happen is the fabric may pill from the agitation and you may experience some threads coming loose (trim any loose threads carefully - never pull them).  Always wash with like colours and don't tumble dry unless you want to experience shrinkage.
